ABOUT MARKUS
Markus Bauer is of Danish nationality and
did all his equestrian training and exams in Germany. Wolfgang Schade, who is the dressage chief of the Holsteiner
Federation, took him on as his Bereiter student.
After becoming a fully qualified German
Bereiter, Markus became the Bereiter of Heike Kemmer and then the late
George Theodorescu who was probably one of the best dressage trainers the
world ever knew.
Markus came to England in 1997 and joined
Longdean stud, where he specialized in training and competing their mostly
home bred Hanoverians up to Prix st. George level, and represented Longdean
stud at several Regional and National championships. He also represented Denmark at
several international events.
Markus has run his own dressage training
yard since 2001 from where he trains dressage, event and showjumping riders on their own horses as well as
taking horses in for training and competing clients' horses. He also
prepares clients horses for sale.
Clinics can be arranged throughout the
country and abroad.
He specializes in bringing the best out of
each horse and rider he teaches, and has helped many riders up the levels
and rankings from regional to international level.
Markus and his wife Gaynor are running MB
Dressage together as a wife and husband team. Together Gaynor and Markus
import horses from Germany
to make sure there is always an outstanding selection of horses for sale at
their U.K.
yard. They also run a German overseas business which main goal is to find
suitable horses for clients in the U.K. Whether you are looking
for a dressage, showjumper or a leisure horse.
Because of the often over priced horses in the U.K. they are able to offer and
find horses abroad sometimes up to 40% cheaper.
